Scott & Kristie

This is Scott Rushforth and Kristie. They met last summer. He lives in Bountiful too. Kristie's best friend Kristin introduced them to each other. Kristin is Scott's sister and worked with Kristie at Dick's Market. They are so cute together and are excited about getting married in the Bountiful Temple on December 18th, 2007. They are planning on living somewhere between Bountiful and Ogden. Scott works at Horizon Credit Union as the IT guy. He loves it. (IT has something to do with computers......I am not exactly sure what it stands for......) Kristie is currently working at Michael's craft store and loves it! She is also looking for a full time job. She is loving her life right now and can't wait until December. She is also looking forward to getting her braces off soon, for the second time.

We decided we needed some stairs coming off our deck this summer so Steve and his Dad and all the boys helped learn to build stairs. They are finished now all but the railing. The boys learned a valuable lesson on how to build stairs the right way. By the way, it has been over 100 degrees all summer. Very hot summer to be outside building stairs.

summer 2007

We did go to Lagoon this summer. This picture was taken in the OldTown place in Lagoon. That's all 9 of us, including Scott. Front row is Dallen, Kristie, Jeni, Jessica, Evan. Back row is Scott, Steve, Trevor and Cameron.
The summer of 2007 was pretty much a boring summer for us as a whole, but Steve and I did go on a wonderful white water rafting trip. The trip was with a bunch of other couples our age and it was up in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. We went down the river 6 times in two days and what a blast. The kids all stayed home and watched themselves and they did terrific. We arrived home 4 days later and the house was spotless and the everyone was well. Trevor graduated from High School in May and is working at Costco. He will be working full-time saving up money for college and then in May 2008 he will spend two years serving a mission for our church. Kristie's summer is just filled with magical things. She has spent most of her time with her Fiance, Scott Rushforth. Their wedding date is set for December 18th 2007. It has been fun to plan and re-plan this wedding. They are very happy and look forward to December very much. Jessica is going into 9th grade, she plays the cello and can't wait for school to start so she can see all her friends. Cameron is very busy this summer. He gets up and is out the door at 6:45am every morning riding his bike about 3 miles to the Rec. center in Bountiful for swim team for 2 hours then on to work at Bangerter Farms which is another mile away. He harvests vegetables and loves the money. Then he rides his bike home at about 2:pm. He is a great swimmer and has many blue and red ribbons so far this summer. Evan is our soccer player. He is on a advanced rec team. They have been playing all summer and then it gets fun for the fall. Games all the time.! Dallen is my baby and he is 5 1/2. He starts Kindergarten too. Yeah for Mom, I mean yeah for Dallen! I'm so excited about having free time I can't even tell you. After 20 years I finally get every afternoon off from kids. I love my kids but you know what I mean. Steve works at Harman still, He is the manager of the Manufacturing Dept. I take care of my Aunt Grace in the Mornings giving my Mother-in-law a break from care giving. Ours lives are busy but we love it. Children grow up too fast.
